Directions to The Hill Gallery Bed and Breakfast

From Northampton Massachusetts:

Take R9W and go through the towns of Haydenville and Williamsburg. In Williamsburg take a left onto R143W and go through the towns of Chesterfield and W. Chesterfield (about 7 or 8 houses grouped at the bottom of a long hill near the bridge that crosses the Westfield River).

When reaching the traffic light in Worthington bear sharply right at the intersection. This is still R143W. Go 2.6 miles and where R143W makes a long sweeping curve to the left, leave R143W by taking the right fork road at a traffic triangle and green state road sign.

Proceed for 1.1 miles and the Hill Gallery will be on the right. About 3 telephone poles distance from the Hill Gallery B&B you will cross the Worthington/Cummington line and note Trouble and Cole Street signs. The Hill Gallery is at 137 Cole Street.

From Pittsfield Massachusetts:

Take R9E thru the towns of Dalton and Windsor (about 10 houses, a gas station/convenience store, a library and town hall and a typical New England church). About 4+ miles past this village look for a blue HILL GALLERY B&B /ARTS & ANTIQUES 2 3/4 miles sign as well as a green state mileage sign that reads: TO R143 WORTHINGTON, PERU and E. WINDSOR.

Take this road to the right and go downhill for about a 1/2 mile, cross Old Route 9 (this is the village of E.Windsor with a cluster of about 6 houses) and continue uphill (past the E. Windsor Guesthouse) for 2+ miles. As you crest the hill, slow down and note the large oval Hill Gallery sign to the left.

Should you be going too fast or not watching the odometer and you reach R143, you will have passed the Hill Gallery B&B by 1.1 miles.
